Dr William (Bill) Atkin is a full-time Consultative Psychiatrist with consulting suites located in Glen Iris, specialising in private practice child, adolescent, adult and family psychiatry. His psychiatric experience spans 22 years with 21 years as a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist.
Bill takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, focusing on holistic and individualised consultations. His multi-disciplinary approach provides a mixture of treatments that are conducted based on the requirements of each individual, which can include family therapy, medication and childhood trauma recovery.
Dr Atkin attained his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery qualification from the University of Melbourne. Today, his private practice incorporates components of education/teaching, providing training programs and supervising Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry students.
